Hi everyone! I’m Adlin, and today I want to share with you my journey at Escapist CrossFit, a place where I found more than just fitness.
Seeking Balance in a Busy Life
Like many of you, balancing a demanding job and personal life is always a challenge. My goal in joining Escapist CrossFit was to find that balance, see progress in my fitness, and become stronger, both physically and mentally.
The Thrill of Starting New
I remember feeling a mix of excitement and nerves when I first thought about joining a new gym. I had previous gym experiences, but they were never consistent enough to make a lasting impact. Starting at Escapist CrossFit, especially with the boot camp, was a game-changer. Everything was new, refreshing, and it offered a perfect starting point for my fitness journey.
More Than a Gym – A Family
What I love about working out at Escapist CrossFit is the sense of community. It’s not just a gym; it’s a family. The coaches are incredibly supportive, and there’s always a friendly face to greet you. The atmosphere is welcoming, making every session enjoyable. It’s amazing how quickly you’re embraced into this warm community.
Service That Goes Beyond
A standout aspect of Escapist CrossFit for me is the availability of assistance and the open, honest communication. It’s comforting to know that help is always at hand, and the genuine care from everyone really makes a difference.
A Comfortable Start
The reason I felt so comfortable starting here was a recommendation from Melina. Although she’s she now has moved away, we keep in touch, a testament to the lasting relationships built here.
Seeing Real Progress
Since joining, the progress I’ve made is incredible. I started out attending sporadically but, with Coach Wanda’s guidance, I gradually increased my sessions. Now, I train up to four times a week. Achieving a 100 kg deadlift was a milestone for me, and feeling fitter than ever before is an exhilarating experience.
My Message to You
To anyone thinking about joining Escapist CrossFit, I say, go for it!
It’s not just about getting fitter; it’s about having fun, being part of a community, and truly enjoying your fitness journey.
Thanks for letting me share my story,
Adlin
